Anuj A. Shah, J.D., Ph.D.

Managing Partner

Anuj has practiced law since 2002, and his primary area of practice is Immigration and U.S. Nationality Law in which he is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Anuj has practiced in a variety of arenas over the years, however, including international law, energy regulatory law, commercial litigation, and labor and employment law.

Since 2002, Anuj has successfully represented and counseled both individual and business clients. Before starting The Law Office of Anuj A. Shah P.C. in 2007, Anuj was a founding member of Skadden, Woo, Shah & Azimpoor, PLLC, as well as of a boutique law firm specializing in Labor and Employment and Immigration Law.

Anuj also worked as an associate attorney in the energy regulatory section of the international law firm of Vinson & Elkins, LLP. In addition to working in the private sector, Anuj served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Marcia A. Crone of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Anuj has traveled and lived around the world and is proficient in Spanish, French, Gujarati, Hindi, and Classical Sanskrit.

    Founder/CEO

    Karyn is the Founder and CEO of Total Sum LLC and an expert legal bookkeeper and Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. She has over 25 years of experience in law, working as a Paralegal, Office Manager, and Bookkeeper, with strong knowledge of legal and trust accounting.

    Misty Musick

    Senior Bookkeeper

    Misty has 19 years of bookkeeping experience and is a Senior Bookkeeper at Total Sum LLC. She focuses on legal and trust accounting but also works with many other industries. Her deep knowledge of trust accounting makes her a key part of the team.
